Chats open only for the current page after explicit activation. Private browsing and local/private-network URLs are not supported.

GlobalChat is a Chrome and Firefox extension that opens a shared conversation for a page only after you click the toolbar button. It does not automatically monitor browsing, collect browsing history, or record page visits.
Public by design
Messages are public to GlobalChat users who open the corresponding webpage. Do not post passwords, tokens, or private information.
Moderated
Users can report and block accounts. Moderators can remove messages from public chat, suspend accounts, and preserve audit records.
